National Education and Training Survey (NETS)

In November last year HEE launched the National Education and Training Survey (NETS) to capture feedback from all multidisciplinary learners across the country and and this year's survey launches soon.

Every year thousands of multi-professional learners undertake clinical placements. For HEE, the quality of teaching, learning and assessments in work-based placements lies at the heart of its responsibility in the NHS.

NETS will enable us to reach a wider range of clinical learners, identify good practice and ensure improvements in educational quality, and will be live this year from November 11 for four weeks. This information will be key to supporting the quality of AHP placements across the region.

In 2018, 24,000 responses were collected from healthcare workforce learners. We want to significantly improve on this number; to help spread the word we have developed the NETS Communication Toolkit.
The toolkit contains a series of digital assets, printable resources, recommended wording and supporting guidance for internal and external stakeholders to use to promote the survey to our learners on placement.
For HEE, the quality of teaching, learning and assessments in work-based placements lies at the heart of its responsibility in the NHS.
