Innovation in Allied Health Professional Practice Learning: Leadership placements for AHP students

A robust and sustainable approach to good quality placements and learning environments is critical for us to effectively expand our workforce by growing the number of Allied Health Professionals in education. To deliver this Health Education England are working collaboratively across professions, universities, Royal Colleges, professional bodies, and with our regulators to share learning and build ambition.

This is a small group workshop to design an innovative placement with your team:

  • Constructing learning paths and outcomes
  • Blended learning – the power of inquiry, peer-learning and creativity
  • Balancing autonomy, supervision, mentorship and coaching
  • Attainment – assessing application of learning, knowledge and skill acquisition, and personal and professional growth
  • Tips and hints for success
