Workshop: Development of a strategic AHP forum in Cheshire and Merseyside
Wednesday 24 July 2019, 02:00pm - 04:00pm

As new NHS structures and priorities take shape in the region, the North West AHP network is supporting the development of AHPs councils or forums of senior AHP leads within STP and ICS footprints, to support the supply and development of the AHP workforce, as well as local care pathways and service transformation.

These councils and forums can:

  • Enable mutual AHP support and leadership.
  • Provide timely intelligence on workforce supply, challenges and solutions to a range of stakeholders
  • Support and advise on strategic workforce planning and service redesign.
  • Share and support local service improvement, innovations and developments.
  • And much more!

We know that this type of strategic AHP council or forum does not currently exist in Cheshire and Merseyside, and are working with senior AHPs in the region to link closely with the North West AHP Workforce Council.

We would therefore like to invite AHP leads within local NHS trusts in Cheshire and Merseyside to attend an initial workshop to:

  • Shape this to meet the needs of you, your services, patients and the local system
  • Hear about developments in other areas
  • Plan next steps

Places are limited and allocated on a first come first served basis.

An agenda and more information will follow on booking your place.
