The North West AHP Network Board acts as a strategic reference group that focuses on a range of issues to support the allied health professions workforce and wider workforce transformation. It guides the work of the North West AHP network and provides Health Education England’s North West Team and other stakeholders with advice on workforce development and education commissioning in relation to AHPs.

The Board includes representatives from the North West AHP Network, including members from NHS provider and commissioning organisations, higher education institutes (HEIs) and strategic leads from Health Education England’s North West Team.

The current co-chairs of the Board are Kay Hack, Dean of School of Health Sciences, University of Salford and Norah Flood, Clinical Director at North West Boroughs Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
